WOODSIDE, Calif. — A bicyclist has died following a devastating collision with a pickup truck at the busy intersection of Highway 35 (Skyline Boulevard) and Highway 84, a location commonly referred to as “Four Corners”, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash occurred around 4:30 p.m. Friday afternoon, prompting a swift response from first responders. Paramedics rushed to provide life-saving aid at the scene, and the victim was airlifted by Stanford Life Flight to Stanford Medical Center in critical condition.
Despite these efforts, the Sheriff’s Office confirmed Saturday that the bicyclist succumbed to injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
