CINCINNATI — Four People Shot in Mt. Washington Neighborhood
Cincinnati police are investigating a shooting incident in Mt. Washington that left four people wounded on Sunday afternoon, August 31, 2025.
According to the Cincinnati Police Department (CPD), the shooting was reported at approximately 1:30 p.m. in the 1500 block of Beacon Street. Officers arrived to find multiple victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
At this time, officials have not released the ages of those injured or the extent of their injuries. Police confirmed that four individuals were struck by gunfire, but details regarding their conditions remain unknown. All victims were transported to area hospitals for treatment.
CPD emphasized that there is no active threat to the broader community. Investigators believe this was an isolated incident and continue to gather evidence and interview witnesses.
The Beacon Street area was temporarily restricted as officers worked to secure the scene and canvass for surveillance footage or additional leads. Detectives are urging anyone who may have witnessed the shooting or has information about the events leading up to it to contact police.
