Kansas City Police Investigating Deadly Shooting on Bales Avenue

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Authorities are investigating a homicide after a man was found shot to death Wednesday evening in Kansas City’s east side.

According to the Kansas City Police Department (KCPD), officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Bales Avenue just before 6:30 p.m. following reports of a medical emergency. When they arrived, emergency crews already on the scene had discovered an unresponsive adult male lying outdoors.
