Kaylee Taylor Obituary, Death – Homicide Investigation Underway in Northwest Harris County
HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Authorities are investigating the tragic death of Kaylee Taylor, a 26-year-old woman who was fatally shot late Monday night in northwest Harris County.
Deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office responded around 9:15 p.m. to reports of gunfire near the intersection of Woodland Oaks and Shady Grove Drive. When they arrived, they found Taylor lying at the end of a cul-de-sac with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators recovered approximately nine shell casings nearby, suggesting several rounds had been fired. A red Mercedes was also located close to the scene, though officials have not confirmed whether the vehicle belonged to Taylor or was connected to the incident.
Sheriff Ed Gonzalez confirmed that the case is being treated as a homicide. At this time, no suspects or motives have been identified.
