Victoria Police Investigating Early Morning Shooting on Lone Tree Road
VICTORIA, Texas — Police are investigating a shooting that left one person seriously injured early Saturday morning after officers responded to reports of gunfire at a business on the city’s north side.
According to the Victoria Police Department, the incident occurred on August 30, 2025, at approximately 1:10 a.m., when dispatchers received a 911 call about shots fired in the 2100 block of Lone Tree Road.
When officers arrived on scene, they found that one person had been struck by gunfire. The victim, whose identity has not been released, was rushed to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. Their condition has not been updated as of Saturday afternoon.
